It would be wonderful to see more people for an evening discussing The Palm Tree, marbles, roller-skating, swimming, Wembley ice cream, the Magic Kiosk (now sadly defunct) and the myriad other things that went into making that part of our childhood in Malta such great fun and so memorable.
Several former members of staff, including Roy Jenkins, Liz Mardel and Barbara Kernahan will be on hand to correct any errors in our individual or collective memories - as they were so used to doing!
